Souvenir Reunion Photo Book

We are in the final stages of putting the Reunion Book together and plan on getting to the publisher by August 24^th.   We learned that the “publisher” wasn’t prepared to assemble the book with the basic data we had at the cost quoted.  Assistant Fire Chief Scott Olsen of the Boone County Fire Protection District is assisting us in putting all the pictures in final form in Pagemaker.  With his expertise and the use of the District’s Pagemaker program, we think we will end up with a superior product.  Those who ordered may have your book by the time you read this.  The book will be on a CD-ROM and can be republished at an unknown cost.  

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2002

Both the Salute to Veterans Corporation and the Boone County Fire Protection District continue to express interest in our Association and would like to see us again for the Memorial Weekend event.  In fact, Fire Chief Steve Paulsell met Robert Davis and Carolyn Vandiver at a St. Louis Cardinal Ballgame a couple of weeks ago.  Steve indicated to us that they were enthusiastic about the idea. Those who were unable to attend the past weekend can come and participate in events as a Reunion Group including the Salute to Veterans Airshow, Parade and Banquet. 

Also, we have received complimentary feedback from those participating in the Branson trip after the Reunion.  You may want to give some thought for a Memorial Weekend vacation in Columbia with a trip to Branson.  We would be happy to organize such an excursion.
