22, 2023 – Thursday Space Foundation Discovery Center at
10:00 am

Colorado Springs, CO 80907
We will be meeting at the hospitality
room at 9:30 am to arrange carpools to the Space Foundation Discovery Center. It
takes about 15 minutes to get there from the Embassy Suites.
The wonders of the universe are closer
than you think when you and your favorite Astro-enthusiasts last off to space at
the Space Foundation Center. Discovery Center is a local treasure that’s
packed full of space-themed fun and science-focused earning for everyone.
From the moment you step inside
Discovery Center, you’ll find yourself surrounded by captivating space
artifacts, interactive exhibits, and all sorts of fascinating information on the
universe, technology, and space exploration. Visitors
will have fun learning about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
in one-of-a-kind settings. Explore the history of humans in space, check out a
presentation on the Discovery Center’s 3D Science on a Sphere globe, wander
the Spacelab, and program robotic rovers to complete mission objectives on our
simulated Martian Terrain.
If
you want to do a little tour on your own, from the Discovery Center, it will be
a six-minute drive to the beautiful Garden of the Gods rock formations that are
known for their beauty. You can
visit the Visitor Center, drive through the formations
and visit the Trading Post. Drinks and snacks are available at the Visitor
Center and the Trading Post and there are several restaurants near the Space
Foundation Center if you want to stop for lunch. The
Garden of the Gods is located at 1805 N 30th Street Colorado Springs,
CO 80904.
June 22, 2023 -
Thursday Evening Flying
"W" Ranch Supper and Western Stage Show at
5:00 pm
The

We will
be meeting at the hospitality room at 4:15 pm to arrange carpools to Flying
“W” Ranch to enjoy dinner and a show. It
is about 15 minutes to get to the ranch from the hotel.
Take a
step back in time to uniquely experience a taste of the Old West. The Flying
"W" offers a winning combination of picturesque natural surroundings,
an authentic western town, mouth-watering cowboy cuisine, and the finest in
western music.
After a
scrumptious supper, sit back under the stars and immerse yourself in the rich
vocals and instrumental virtuosity of the world’s second-oldest cowboy band,
the Flying W Wranglers. Guaranteed to be an evening to be remembered. Enjoy a
true cowboy 3-course trail meal.

Gettin' Hungry Yet? When the western town closes and the sun begins to drop
behind the foothills of Pikes Peak and the vertical red rock formations, it's
time for supper. You’ll be introduced to the Ranch, the food, and the legacy.
The piping hot Flying W Colorado smoked BBQ meats, the foil-wrapped potato, and
the Flying W beans, are placed on a tin plate. Your hand will be searching
for the cold applesauce spot so that you can make it back to your table.

Friday Tour of Dragonman’s Military Museum at 10:00 am
The
address is 1200 Dragonman's Drive Colorado Springs CO 80929
We will
meet at the hospitality room at 9:00 am to arrange carpools.
It will take approximately 45 minutes to drive to the Dragonman’s
Military Museum.
Dragonman’s
Military Museum has a variety of uniforms, weapons, flags, equipment and
displays representing the military operations the USA.
We expect this walking tour to take approximately 2 hours. You will be
amazed at the history lesson represented by all of these items. For

Following
the museum tour those who want to can join us for lunch at The Saltgrass Steak
House located at 1405 Jamboree Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80920.
The cost ranges from $10 to $20 and each individual will purchase their
own lunch off of the menu. A
reservation will be made ahead of time. The
restaurant is approximately 6 minutes from the Embassy Suites Hotel.
June
24, 2023 - Saturday - Association
Members-only business meeting at 9am in the Hotel Hospitality Room.
Once completed, you will have free time
for other activities or spend time visiting the hospitality room.
Banquet
at the Embassy Suites Continental Grand Ball
Room at 5:30 pm
Music
will be provided by DJ Logan Knob. Dancing
to follow the dinner.
We
will meet back at the Hospitality Room
for our auction following the banquet.
